Hapgood was right, Earth Crust Displacements is what caused Ice Ages. Hapgood was wrong about the causative force, but was definitely right about the phenomenon itself. Hapgood was also wrong in the direction of the displacements, they went solely in the latitudinal direction, and not longitudinal like Hapgood believed. That’s because Earth behaves like a spinning top that reacts perpendicular to the oscillating pull of the Sun when the Earth is in high eccentric orbit. The eccentricity of orbit fits perfectly on the glaciation graphs, something where many scientists have wondered about but still don’t understand why that is.
