The sacred, ancient site of Carnac in France contains today over 3,000 standing stones. They are orderly aligned in strange, long rows but no one has yet discovered their purpose. With our Holistic Orientation-Based Dating Method, the most probable purpose of the site has been rediscovered.
By processing different alignments and comparing the number of correlations with the Poles I to V, it is apparent that the site is aligned with a staggering high degree of probability of over 99.999% to the Poles I to IV.
Therefore, it is most probably true that the age of the site stretches over a period of more than 250,000 years. That raises even more questions: why the stones are still in plain sight and not covered with a layer of soil. That is one of the questions that science must solve open-mindedly in the future. Our suggestion is because the site has been visited over the many millenniums the soil has been “walked out” continously could not build up and cover the stones like it did for example with Gobleki Tepe.
A) Is it because the site of Carnac has been in use up to a few thousand years ago?
B) Did the ancient people keep it clean as a sacred place?
C) Who were the people that brought the stones there in the first place?
D) How did they move so many stones?
One thing is certain with a high probability: the culture peaked between 130,000 and 155,000 years ago. It is during this period they positioned most of the standing stones.
