If you believe you’re bad in mathematics it’s because it wasn’t explained well enough to you; everyone is basically good in mathematics. That is because we are in our true essence mathematical entities.

But if you burden your consciousness with tons of useless stuff like words and ideas which are untrue, you’ve programmed yourself into an irrational being incapable of grasping mathematics. In that state you can’t reach your own essence anymore.

Waking up can be done by shifting and/or widening your paradigm, and by dumping false ideas out of your mindset.

The Purpose of Stonehenge – Changing Perspectives

What Was the Purpose of Stonehenge?

In this second article we will explore the use of Stonehenge as a calender from another perspective. The purpose of Stonehenge has always been a mystery. The strange orientation of the monument in regard to the cardinals makes no sense, because the monument contains so many redundant stones. The scale of this megalithic structure leaves not a single doubt of its importance. But for what?

Was Stonehenge a calender? Or a temple? But how did it work? Is the contemporary alignment of the symmetry axis towards the Summer solstice a play of mother Nature?

In this previous article some aspects of Stonehenge’s alleged solstice orientation are explained. It’s also argued in this previous article that the monument was oriented to another geographical pole, pole IV. This pole is between 240,000 and 270,000 years old.

The symmetry axis of Stonehenge was exactly perpendicular to the position of pole IV. The chances for this to happen accidentally is 20%. So, there’s obviously a possibility that this claim is entirely wrong.

But what happens when we actually continue to built on this outrageous claim? Will it make the monument work as a calender?

Step 4 – Was Stonehenge a Very Ancient Calender?

If it is true that Stonehenge was really built at the time that the geographic North pole was at the location marked as pole IV, it would mean that it was situated at another latitude: 63.3°N instead of 51.2°N today.

That would change three major things:

  • the symmetry axis (explained in previous article) of Stonehenge was oriented towards another cardinal system and therefore to a very ancient true East-West cardinal. Stonehenge’s horseshoe would be oriented like a sun catcher to the Equinox, and so ultimately symmetrical to both Summer and Winter solstices.
  • the solstice angles were completely different because the latitude was different,
  • the tilt angle of the Earth varied between 240,000 and 270,000 years ago, which influenced the solstices as well.

Pole IV, noted with the red dot (fig. 3), was stable at the position 64.0°N, 47.1°W between 240,000 and 270,000 years ago.

I know this article might be awfully difficult for many of my readers, but we have to go through this if you want to understand the full truth behind our ancient history. And that is a very difficult quest, which is ultimately a mathematical quest.

On the question, whether Stonehenge was an ancient calender, is the answer: Yes. It was a very sophisticated calender. But we have to overcome some serious problems first.

If Stonehenge would be oriented towards Pole IV its symmetry axis would be ultimately oriented towards an ancient Equinox.

Step 5 – Putting Everything Into Another Perspective

Like already argued in the previous article, the odds for Stonehenge to correlate purposely with one of the former geographical poles is 80%. That’s not spectacularly high, but it’s a good enough basis to investigate.

But, of course, the almost matching orientation of Stonehenge towards the current Summer solstice is spectacularly higher, about 99.3%.

That’s why the basis for the idea that Stonehenge once was oriented, firstly to another cardinal system, and secondly would be amazingly older than believed might be received with disbelieve. That’s perfectly understandable. But that doesn’t change the fact that up to this day no one has been able to explain how the monument worked and that Stonehenge has many redundant stones for only one solstice, the Summer solstice.

What if I say that this almost matching orientation towards the Summer solstice is a play of mother Nature?

Why is that? Because the monument obviously doesn’t work. Be honest, like already said, have you ever seen one idea about Stonehenge that really made sense? Why so much effort for so many obsolete stones, done in a time when manpower was one of the most valuable assets. Wouldn’t that contradict all logic?

Below (fig. 5) you find the formula to calculate the solstice angles for any location on Earth during any tilt angle of the spin axis. You will see how important it is to get a grasp of this kind of mathematics, which is mainly the terrain of experts.

Step 6 – Setting the Initial Data

Since we can only say, at this stage, that Stonehenge corresponds to pole IV, we can find the corresponding values for that, which you find in the table below. Because pole IV was stable between 240,000 and 270,000 years ago the tilt of the Earth varied quite a bit and so the resulting solstice angles.

Step 7 – Calculating the Limits of the Solstices

By using the solstice formula we can calculate the values of the solstices for both extreme tilt angles.

Step 8 – Examining Stonehenge’s Arrangement Pole IV

The Only Angle That Fits

Step 9 – Finding the Most Probable Age for Stonehenge

As you can see in the graph above there are two moments during a stable pole IV (240ky-270ky ago). One is at -240 and the other at -265. It is highly unlikely that Stonehenge would be built at the end of a 30,000 years during period. It is therefore more likely that it was built 265,000 years ago.

The crust, after being on a rough ride for 65,000 years, stabilized at the position of Pole IV, 270,000 years ago. It took still 5,000 years before the monument was built during this period of blossom.

We can be sure we’ve found the ultimate key of Stonehenge. The monument is a whopping 265,000 years old, mathematically confirmed.

Step 10 – The Probabilities of the Claim

As explained in the previous article, there is 20% chance for Stonehenge’s symmetry axis to correlate accidentally with one of the poles I to V, hence there’s 80% chance it was done on purpose. But there is only one pole where Stonehenge clearly correlates with, which is pole IV. Because of this reason we’ve researched the whole constellation based upon pole IV. What we found was beyond anything we expected.

It is therefore legitimate to say that if, the reorientation of the symmetry axis to another very ancient pole, would lead to a more credible explanation as to how the monument worked, the whole outrageous idea that Stonehenge would be oriented to Pole IV, and therefore very old, suddenly doesn’t sound so crazy anymore. But how large are the odds that the claim might be true?

If we look at the horseshoe shaped inner arrangement we can fairly easy see there’s only one way to make this part of the monument to work for the:

  • Summer solstice,
  • Winter solstice and
  • Equinox,

The odds for this accidentally to happen are very small. The margins for the Sun to shine through the slits A-A’ and B-B’ are incredibly narrow, only 0.05°[1]. This 0.05° is the necessary margin to measure a solstice up to one day.

Of all possibilities is this amazingly narrow fit exclusively related to Pole IV. The chances that this is mere coincidence are very small: 1 to 6.7 million or 0.0000149%. The probability it was done on purpose: 99.999985%[2].

We can therefore confirm that Stonehenge is actually between 240,000 and 270,000 years old with a probability of 99.999985%, which outmatches any other estimations and explanations of the purpose of the monument. This is amazingly old.

That it is hard for us to believe or even grasp that Stonehenge could be so amazingly old is another matter, which has to do with our conditioning and believe systems. Most people are bad in mathematics but good in pounding apparently untrue information into their brains.

It’s also crucial to grasp that the monument does NOT work anymore, although it’s still there.

New Answers Also Generate New Questions

Monuments like this appear to last much longer than we believe. This age raises also many questions like, why is it not buried with thick layers of soil? That might have to do with the continuous stream of visitors who went to the monument over the many millenniums. Besides, finding new answers also generate new questions.

In mathematics has the angle of 60° (and 30°) special properties. For example the cosine of 60° equals ½, and the sinus of 60° equals ½√3. This solstice angle of 60° occurred only once in history at this specific location. What was their message? Did they leave us such a monument to back engineer our true history? Did they know our history would be obscured so badly?

When the geographic pole was at position IV, it was at the South tip of Greenland, which led to the first formations of the Greenland ice sheet. It must have been cold at the time Stonehenge was built there, comparable with the middle of Scandinavia – mild Summers, cold Winters.

The Purpose of Stonehenge – First Things First

What is Stonehenge?

Most people are well aware of Stonehenge. You know, the circular arrangement of rocks in England that seems to have no clear purpose.

Every year people leave for Stonehenge to witness the sunrise at Summer or Winter solstice.

Why are they doing this?

Because they believe this was the main purpose of the monument – to verify and celebrate the longest and shortest days of the year.

Wishful Thinking

It’s a fact that a circular array of many stones, when the Sun shines through them, will always produce many effects, which can be easily mistaken for the “truth”. People are much easier mislead by their own preoccupation than they’re lead to the Truth.

Another fact is that when you know when the longest day occurs, you will look for patterns that will gratify your believes about the monument. Most people are lead by wishful thinking.

Many Things Are Said About Stonehenge

It is said that Stonehenge’s building process took several hundreds of years. It is also said it was built during the so called “Neolithic period”. Some of the stones are so tall that everyone still wonders how they were transported, because it is believed they had no wheels.

It is also said there were no labor forces for such an undertaking because they had to hunt, scavenge, and prepare food almost continuous for their survival. Why would they built something as outrageous as Stonehenge when there were insufficient human resources? Let alone no wheels?

Historians and archaeologists are more guided by their minuscule paradigm than by pure science.

It is also said that the bluestones, the stones in the inner horseshoe shape, have been withdrawn from a quarry in Wales, some 160 miles (240 km) away. The purpose of the monument must have been something magnificent, since they’ve put so much effort in building it. But what is it?

The Purpose of Stonehenge?

What was the purpose of Stonehenge? Well, that’s finally been solved with a complete new mathematical theory.

There are some official theories which could be partially correct. It is believed Stonehenge could be:

  • a calender,
  • a sacred cemetery,
  • a sound illusion,
  • bells.

Stonehenge has exceptionally sound qualities. Sounds which are produced in the center or at the altar result in amazing complicated interference patterns. Meaning at some points the sound dies out and at some points the sound is amplified.

But the premier purpose of Stonehenge is that of a calender. A very ancient calender. I will show how it was used. It will be solved in several steps throughout a series of articles. So, buckle up!

Ice Ages Were Earth Crust Displacements

First, you need to know more about Earth’s true history: the Earth knew 4 latitudinal crustal displacements over the last 340,000 years. Science has called these events glaciation cycles. The crustal displacements are proven for the full 100% with a new mathematical method called the Holistic Orientation Based Dating Method.

The method proves via the orientation of ancient structures around the world, which is a very powerful mathematical signal, how ancient structures and crustal displacements are entangled. The theory might be difficult for most people but it reveals without a doubt the full truth of our ancient history in relation to the Earth.

The crust is displaced latitudinally over an angled of 38 degrees. Ancient structures show us the way to something that geologists aren’t even aware of. They measured it as “glaciation cycles”. The growing size of the “red dot” is due to the deformation of the crust because of the massive displacements.

Step 1 – The Symmetry Axis of Stonehenge

Stonehenge is only symmetrical along one specific axis (fig 3). Symmetry is of importance when you want to use any kind of building as an instrument.

Why is that?

Because if symmetry is not introduced into such an instrument, there’s an extra variable in the readings of the measurements. Extra variables make the measurements and interpretations suddenly horrifically difficult to solve, if not impossible. Ask any graduated engineer or scientist. They will all agree.

If Stonehenge would be a calender of some kind, than it had to be symmetrical in regard to the cardinals, which is either North-South or East-West. The direction in which it is symmetrical will decide its ultimate use.

Here’s our first problem. There’s no way to match the symmetry axis onto our current geographic pole or to any of the current cardinals East-West or North-South.

What happens when we examine the symmetry axis to one of the other ancient geographic poles?

Step 2 – Everything Should Be Made as Simple as Possible, But Not Simpler

The symmetry axis of Stonehenge is rotated under an angle of 50° in regard to our current geo North pole.

The angle of the Summer solstice of the specific latitude where Stonehenge is situated is 39.4°. That is the angle between true East and where the Sun rises at Summer or Winter solstice.

Because the symmetry axis of Stonehenge is almost aligned towards the Summer solstice, the puzzle seemed to be solved already long time ago.

But is that true? Since no one still knows how Stonehenge was used shows how big the mistakes might be in interpreting the monument.

The only missing piece of the puzzle was believed to be the glitch between 39.4 and 40. Because this would result in errors too big to measure the solstices accurately. To determine a solstice, at the day accurately with a stone arrangement, requires an eerie precise alignment. A deviation of just 0.6° results in an uncertainty of 12 days. That’s because the closer to a solstice the slower the Sun shifts. The Sun shifts fastest at the Equinox. The math behind this is much too complicated for the average reader, that’s why it’s not explained any further.

To measure the solstice in the case of Stonehenge within ±3 days accurately requires an accuracy of just 0.1° of the monument towards the solstice event. To measure it within one day accurately requires an accuracy of less than 0.05°.

Empiricism Versus Mathematics

Some archaeologists believed to have found the reason for this glitch. If Stonehenge was built some 5,000 years ago, the tilt angle of the Earth was at a slightly higher angle (24.0°) than today, which resulted in another solstice angle, by which the ‘experts’ believed it would close the gap.

But is that so? The facts are pointing to the contrary. The error remains but now in the other direction. Are archaeologist bad mathematicians? It appears so.

A tilt angle of 24.0° resulted in a Summer solstice angle of 40.5°. That would make the instrument, at the time it was built, as inaccurate as it is today. It would still be 0.5° off, but in the other direction. Quite a large deviation, which equals an uncertainty of 10 days in determining the solstice.

If Stonehenge would appear to be a few thousand years older than it is estimated today, the error would grow so large that the solstice angle of the monument would be more than 1° off. One degree off would mean an error of about three weeks.

There’s not a single fact supporting the idea that the original symmetry axis of Stonehenge was really oriented towards the Summer solstice. That Stonehenge’s orientation angle comes close to the Summer solstice seems to be most likely a play of mother Nature.

Step 3 – The Only Matching Time Frame For Stonehenge

Therefore we can easily posit the idea that the alleged alignment of the symmetry axis towards the Summer solstice is one of the biggest misunderstandings of the monument. Stonehenge’s orientation though is correlating with one of the former proven geographic poles, pole IV. There’s about 20% for this occurrence to be coincidental. We can posit the claim with 80% certainty that Stonehenge’s symmetry axis was aligned to the Equinox, true East-West.

But that likelihood is still outmatched by its current, almost matching orientation to the Summer solstice. Since that orientation does not seem to make the monument work, we can investigate other options, that it once might have been oriented to pole IV. But that makes the monument suddenly astounding ancient, between 240,000 and 270,000 years ago.

Why Stonehenge is Much Older

Stonehenge is one of the most famous ancient monuments in the world. There are many speculations about the use and the age of Stonehenge. There are new discoveries, mathematical discoveries, which reveal the true age of Stonehenge.

About Stonehenge

Stonehenge is without much doubt, together with the Pyramids of Giza, one of the most intriguing ancient monuments on Earth.

There are many other mysterious structures around the world, most of which are categorized somewhere between 1,500 and 10,000 years old. Quite a narrow time frame for such a huge amount of ancient structures built by a limited population that on top of that, as generally believed, were struggling for their survival. Usually are people not lugging around with massive stones when they have hardly anything to eat.

Transportation of Bluestones

Almost everyone agrees that the long-distance transport of the Bluestones from Wales to Stonehenge was one of the most remarkable accomplishments of a society of about 5,000 years ago. It is said they had no wheels, and that was a serious problem when they had to transport very heavy stones.

It is also said that life was tough and that men were occupied with survival by hunting beasts. If that would be true, why were they then so busy dragging around massive stones? The stories and believes around ancient humanities are illogical and full of contradictions.

The biggest of Stonehenge’s stones, known as Sarsens, are up to 9 meters tall and weigh almost 25 metric tons. It is widely believed that they were brought from Marlborough Downs, a distance of 32 kilometers to the north. Why so much effort?

How Old is Stonehenge Really?

Scientists overthrow each others theories with newer versions. That happens with Stonehenge too. Stonehenge will appear to be older with every new discovery. What did that say about the believes before that new discovery? That they were based on falsehood. How about the new discovery, that somewhat pushed the limits of the ruling paradigm? How will the odds be it’s still false? I’ll tell you: 100%.

Archaeologists are literally guessing, while making associative and assumptive relations between artefacts found in and around Stonehenge. Nothing is verified, while they believe they have.  On top of that are these artefacts dated by using the highly unreliable radiocarbon dating called 14C.

Stonehenge is 263,000 years old. Verified. 99,9986% certain.

Stonehenge Was Oriented to an Ancient Sun Rise

Most Important Contemporary Structures Are Oriented to True North

Just check out yourself how many important buildings are oriented to the geographic North pole (or the sun, which is in fact the same).

Buildings that express power:

  • White House in Washington,
  • Supreme Court in Washington,
  • The Vatican in Rome,
  • The Royal Palace in Amsterdam,
  • Forbidden Palace in Beijing,
  • Taj Mahal in Agra,
  • Palais du Luxembourg in Paris,
  • Pyramids of Giza in Cairo,
  • Borobudur on Java.

Many football and socker ‘temples’ are oriented to the geo pole. Many university ‘temples’ are North-South oriented. Many American cities are North-South oriented.

When there’s plenty of space, positioning like this is the only logical thing to do. When there’s not enough space, such as the Vatican, it’s an ultimate expression of power, for it takes more money to orient a structure cardinally in a crowded city, and not to adapt it to available spatial possibilities.

When sunrise and sunset somehow play an important role, every building will be oriented to one of the geographic poles, depending on which hemisphere you find yourself. In any other case it’s fitted into the city’s space or adjusted to the local natural environment.

Where the Former Geo Poles Were Located

Time Frame for Stonehenge

The time frame where Stonehenge is referring to is between 240,000 and 270,000 years ago.

The probability that the pole was at that location is very certain: 99.9986%. When it was there is for 99.99986% certain. This new method of dating is a powerful, new player in the game. While archaeologists are still mindlessly digging, and historians keep mindlessly repeating their textbooks, the way we can date ancient structures has been changed radically.

Why to Orient Stonehenge to the Geographical North Pole

It makes no sense to built a structure like Stonehenge in the middle of nowhere with so much effort, and orient it just to nowhere. It is said Stonehenge was oriented to the Summer solstice. For that you need only two stones. Why, how and what for were all the other stones used? If Stonehenge is twisted under the right orientation and put on the right latitude, you see jaw dropping things happen – the device suddenly starts to work! And you’ll understand how and what for it was used.

Because it was oriented to an ancient geographic North pole, the builders were able to measure the Summer solstice, the equinox, and the Winter solstice. Stonehenge was an instrument. They could measure sky phenomena, like the movement of the Pole star, and the movements of the Moon as well.

But Stonehenge has become completely useless due to the displacement of the crust and therefore the geo pole. What a disappointment, hey!

Probability of This Orientation

There’s about 18% chance that the orientation of Stonehenge ‘hits’ exactly one of the four former poles. That means that there is 82% chance that Stonehenge was meant to be oriented to this former North pole, which was two glaciation cycles ago.

When we rationalize all aspects of Stonehenge the odds it was NOT oriented to this ancient pole exceeds the 1 to 500,000. But since that probability can logically not exceed the probability of the pole position (Pole IV), it has been downsized to 1 to 69,219 which equals a 99.9986% certainty, which is the verified certainty of the position of Pole IV.

Have you ever seen archaeologists keeping their claims under scrutiny in a way we can judge? No, never. Archaeologists are in fact graduated pit diggers, who have claimed the territory of history as their own. That’s maybe why we cannot expect them to fully rationalize what they are doing.

There is just 19% chance that Stonehenge was meant to be oriented to one of the solstices. And let’s be rational. The current orientation of Stonehenge measures only one solstice. Where were all other rocks used for then? All astronomical objects are cardinally oriented. When we value all variables there’s just 0.0014% chance that Stonehenge was NOT oriented to Pole IV. By rationalizing the whole site of Stonehenge we’ve been able to pinpoint its age at 263,000 years (±1200 years).
